KL - 6 Dec

Rise & shine at 6am because I had gotta pack up & bring my luggage along to my morning training at Pavilion. We would leave straight from Pavilion at 5pm to the airport when Uncle picks us up.
.
It was such a cold & rainy morning. We went to the Coffee Bean at the Pavilion which has outdoor seatings. We had yummy western breakfast at only RM 13 which is equivalent to a McDonald's big breakfast in Singapore. My colleague ordered eggs with toasts..

When I was done with the training at about 12:30pm. We took a quick bite at KFC then I went back for another session until 4pm when our taxi arrived.
.
This time round we would be heading home by land. Uncle would send us to Johor & we would get into another car. His friend would drop us at Woodlands in Singapore. All this for RM400. We left Pavilion at 5pm, we were at Johor at 7:30pm. It was rather fast & comfortable.

.

My only haul this trip was ...... RMK lipsticks from Parkson! I simply love Japan-made lipsticks! Like Dior, Lancome, Shiseido... LOVE IT! I got myself 2 lipsticks for RM160 & I also got a free Lipstick holder.. quite cool whats more the brand is no longer in Singapore.
.

I was happy to be home. Missed my dog & Jason terribly.. perhaps due to the chilly weather.

KL - 5 Dec

Today was a long day. I attended a training in our store at the Pavilion from 9:30 to 11am. After that I attended a short discussion between the Malaysian colleagues until about 12pm. I was supposed to have another meeting in the office in at 2pm.
.
But since we are in KL, I had long voiced my yearn for Madam Kwan's Nasi Lemak! & YES my wonderful manager granted my wish & we went to have some though we were both not that hungry.. we shared one plate of it. I thought I might have to admit that Nasi Lemak is indeed... my favourite local food!
.
& of course, since our office over there is considered quite inaccessible, we must definitely pack snacks for tea time!!!!! Guess what we bought?
Donuts DONUTS DONUTS!!!!!! We bought extras for our local colleagues of course.. you didn't think I was going to down all, did you??
.
After my meeting in the office, we rang for uncle to pick us, stop over at our apartment for us to unload our heavy bags & lap-tops & send us back to Pavilion for X'mas shopping.. though I had nothing much to buy.. I was indulging in the beautiful white x'mas decorations they mall was so filled with!
The whole mall was decorated with long & dangling white & crystal-like decorations. The atrium in the centre of the mall was even covered with the cosy, snowy, sparkling x'mas tree that changes color slowly.. it was indeed spectacular. Pavilion - a humongous stoned-castle standing in the center of Bukit Bintang in KL, during this festive season has completely turned into a white sparkling castle.... internally.

.
We dashed into Ichiban Japanese Restaurant with Hot Soupy Ramen in our minds as the weather was chilly & wet here at KL, like it was in Singapore. I ordered a Duck Meat Ramen. The soup was a yummy-Chinese herb-y taste. I liked it!
.

We started walking back to our apartment which was about 20mins away at about 10pm. When we got to the mini mart opposite the apartment, we decided to get some drinks & snacks. When I made my payment & said my 'thank you!', I noticed the store attendant erasing off my sale transaction. He didn't give me a receipt. I told my colleagues & their reasoning was clear - it was obvious the attendant would take the money & 'walk' since the transaction was not recorded.
.
I sighed with disbelief. Its no wonder the owners usually do not earn enough while their staff leads a strange-but-true much more comfortable life!
.
We went back to the apartment after that.
.
I went to bed at 12am but couldn't sleep well as a meeting was going on in the dining hall between some of the colleagues. I could still hear them pretty loud & clear at about 3am. Not that I couldn't sleep with noises, just that subconsciously I was very much interested in what they were talking about YET my body was too tired to follow through.

Horros!

Yesterday afternoon amidst all the rushing of horrendous deadlines & paperwork piling ... I received a phone call that shook me silly till I lost all momentum of what I was rushing....
.
I was told to fly Kuala Lumpur the next day. Not that I was reluctant. I had a deadline to submit an assignment this Friday.. but if I have to fly off on Tuesday evening, it would actually means that I won't be able to touch my assignment on Wednesday & Thursday.. which means... *chop my head off* I won't be able to hand in my assignment.. *SCREAMING AT THE EDGE OF THE CLIFF*
.
So here I am, sitting on the bed of our company's 3 bedroom KL apartment... feeling miserable & resentful.
.
This time round, we took Japan Airline instead. It was my first flight with them. I was delighted with the service as well as the spacious space in between seats. It was also my first time being offered a packet fruity drink rather than coffee or tea. Though a packet drink, it was a nice, Japanese product. They are really health-conscious, aren't they?
.
We took a 8:30 pm flight, by the time we reached our apartment, I was so tired.
.
Went to bed at about 1am after chatting with a dear pal on MSN.
