5 Oct

Our Lovely heart breakfast at the same place. We couldn't go anywhere as it was extremely windy and also raining. We had to actually borrow huge umbrella from the apartment front desk to even walk to the cafe though doors away.

After we had our lovely breakfast, we went up to get our things and hail a cab to the Kowloon Mtr Station.

.
Here's Handsome going down to the train.

We passed by the station where you'd need to change train if you're going to the Disneyland. The train is soooo cute! It has mickey mouse cut-outs as windows! :)
.
We went to the mall that housed all the outlet stores; I couldn't remember the name now and J is not home, so will feed the information later.
.
We had lunch. Noticed how gusty the wind was outside which eventually resulted in our delayed flight.

Hearty meal.

Here's us at the airport.. OH, I mean, STUCK at the airport....

The weather was bad, so we were mercilessly delayed!

When we finally got on the plane, we were drained out. 6-hour delay! Dinner on flight as become supper and supper is not what everyone needed, every needed a rest!

Though cruelly delayed, J persisted to head on to work the next morning. We arrived in Singapore only at 3am. He didn't get to sleep.
.
Other than the flight delay, I must say I had enjoyed myself. Hong Kong was a place I have not been to, so everything was new and curious to me compared to Bangkok. I was happy I had J with me and I am looking forward to new trip which I have no idea, when we will get to travel again....
.
Hope and pray... :) Thank you hunny for taking me on this trip.

3 Oct - Part 2

Oh Gosh! Now its Feb 2009 and I actually didn't realised I have not finished with recoding our HK trip?! How could I?
.
My memories are very vague now and I could only try to blog alittle about the pictures.. try my best.
.
Alright.
.
We went out about 3 or 4pm after resting. We had planned to go up to the Peak in the evening..

These are the pictures taken in the MTR to Hong Kong Island, we were planning to visit SOHO first. Soho is famous for being extremely slope-y and housed interesting restaurants!
This picture was snapped when we were on the elevated pathway. It was a really long elevated pathway all the way to Soho.

These are bits and pieces of Soho! Notice how steep the slopes were actually?
.
We came to a Mexican restaurant and decided to have some food. All the restaurants in Soho were tiny and cramp. But I must say they are all interesting and were having very unique themes and interior decor!
.
Here's us in the Mexican place.

This trip, we walked alot. After Soho, we walked to the place where we could take the tram up to the Peak. Come to think of it, I remembered we walked for a really long time.
.
Walking towards the station, we could already see the queue! Can you see it?
No worries, we had to queue to go up and we couldn't possibly give up! So here we are entertaining ourselves! (see the queue behind us?)
hang in there, we are nearing the ticket booth after a good 40mins.

More people and more squeezing!

It was very windy and cold up there. The view; Spectacular! Our lousy DG Camera was not good enough to capture such magnificent shots, hence, we fell into paying those tourist-pay-money-to-get-pictures-taken photographers up there on the roof-top!
.
Here's the one we paid S$25 for!
And here are a few we took ourselves!

After literally chilling out at the viewing deck, we headed down for a wonderful Japanese dinner!

OoOOoooo my lovely saba! :)

The Shopping mall on the Peak - The Peak Galleria

Here's US coming down from the Peak in the tram!
After we come down, we did all the walking again to take the MTR back to Kowloon. ON the way, I saw a tram.
I was so excited! hahahahahah!
After that we took the MTR back to Kowloon and a cab back to Tsim TSha Tcui.
