DAY 6 - Friday 17 July

Today, it was special arrangement for the HK colleagues to take us on Store Visits. All of us went to the Kowloon Station and checked in our luggage so that we wouldn't have to carry them all around with us today since our flights were all pretty late in the afternoon.

Here we were at the City Check-In.
Everything on this trolley were mine! The huge yellow luggage and more! *blush*
.
Our wonderful HK colleagues were so kind to accommodate to our requests and brought us to visit a few stores on HK island.
.
HK island is so different from Kowloon. Here, everything looks commercialized and lack nostalgia. In Kowloon, buildings are older and feels more like we are indeed, away from home. HK island is very much like SIngapore.
.
A few snaps of Hong Kong Island

.
We were tired and some, famished by the time our visits ended, our HK leader brought us to a very authentic HK Cha Can Teng at a rundown corner, which I loved, and left. They have put in so much to arrange this conference trip for all of us. THANK Y'ALL!!!
.
I was not hungry, but had to eat as they were so authentically cooked. It was GOOD though. Perhaps everything consumed on holidays always tasted better though they may be ordinary stuff? :)

.
We sat and chilled and then walked a long way to get cabbies to go to the station where we decided to take the Airport Express to the Airport.

.
When we arrived at the airport, we had a quick lunch. I had Ajisen Ramen, Bad! Bad noodles and bad service too! So angry with them. Not worth mentioning here.
After the meal, we bid farewell to our Taiwan and Malaysian friends.
.
As it was still 2 hours plus away from our flight time, I was determined to find a place to chill. I found this uninteresting BUT quiet-enough cafe where I could sit and chill out.

I sat there happily, in peace and while my time away with a cuppa and a cake. :)
My happy moments.

Then it was time to go.
It was the fateful same flight that delayed J and me last October. *eeek*
.
Hahaha! But all is good. Here's leaving you with a picture of me, being all royal, from the lobby of Luxe Manor.
GOodbye Hong Kong, till then.

My flight back was horrendous. Sat beside a 'COUGHING machine'. I almost stood up and strangled him. I managed to watch Sunshine Cleaning on the way back. No one served me coffee on flight. Was really upset and angry. First they said that coffee and tea service had to be terminated due to turbulence, then after that, the flight arrived in Singapore early.. how could they.. how could they deprive me of my coffee on flight - my only leisure and pampering thing to do on flight. Sigh.
.
In summary, the trip was a good one. I have learnt alot from colleagues from Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan. I hope the meeting will be held in Taiwan next! :)
.
Till next trip.. Have a good day everyone and hope your every trip is a fun and fruitful one.

And I knew J will be there at the airport waiting for me. *love and happiness*

Day 5 - Thursday 16 July

Rise and Shine! :)
.
Today will be a good day! Breakfast as usual and conference zoomed on.
.
We were 'released' at 4pm. E and me had wanted to go shopping and we headed on back to my hotel with our Taiwan friend. They had been eager to have a glimpse of my hotel room. So, at the same time I can also change into something comfy and I followed them to their hotel for a peep as well ; Butterly.
.
It was a pretty and small boutique hotel. Here are the pictures. Very diffferent from ours which was more cluttered and tasteful; theirs was clean, minimal and comfortable. COOL.

.
3 of us headed on by foot to Harborcity area for food. We settled in at the City Super Food COurt. A dessert store that was deemed as a 'must-try'... Hahaha! I had Beancurd with mango! Need me say more... YUMMYLICIOUS!

.
Then we gave ourselves time for F and E and everyone went on separate ways. I kind of enjoyed time on my own. I managed to get these! Love them! Though I started out with a goal to get many many pretty pens.. there were pretty much none.. and not too cheap either.. so I ended up getting several very CUTE and pretty organiser for some of my friends and these organizers could be used from Aug 2009 to Dec 2010... so thoughful. Just in Time and right to start using right away!!
.
This is a table 'calendar' i got for myself!
I love this.. though expensive (S$32) but I felt it was worth it as It can be used for years. Unlike the ordinary calendar where the Year is stamped everywhere.. this is fun too. Just like the 'Lego' where you'd reconstruct the calendar every month. Very COOL!!
These are the organizers I bought! Very pretty, happy and colorful organizers.. I love all of them.
But I have not decided which to keep for myself.. . and all in all, I only managed to get 1 pen and it was not cheap too.
.
After that, our taiwan friend had wanted to meet up with her friends so she left. E and I went on to have our dinner (yes.. eat again!) at the same foodcourt again. Too tired to think where to go. We had vietnamese noodles; something light and soupy for a change.
.

My Beef Noodles and his Seafood Noodles.

I had promised to take him to the Star Walk and we headed there on foot. Quite tiring as we walked alot alot! But I was glad he enjoyed himself.

That's E, my buddy colleague from M'sia - A Chirpy and Cheeful boy! *lol*
.
We walked around abit more and headed back to the hotel at about 10pm. My butt and back were killing me. AGE is and must be merciless.

Day 4 - Wednesday 15 July

To day is quite a big day for me. I had to do a presentation to the team. So I had wanted to be well-prepared and all. Had a full full breakfast, my power coffee and I was ready to rock and roll. *lol*
.
Like yesterday, today we had to race against time to finish what we had discussed for the past few days and roll out the policies and projects. So, time went by really quickly. No one actually had any opportunities to fall asleep or even feel lethargic throughout the conference.
.
Lunch was also a 'called in'; today, we had a better mix of food from pastas, meat, salad, fruits. I love how they affectionately added in fresh fruits for us. Like whole bananas, cherries and all! *love them*
.
The day ended early at 5pm sharp. Everyone wanted to go to different places and some had to catch their flght home today. We bade farewell to some.
.
For the Singapore and Malaysia Team, we were wonderfully taken care of and our HK colleagues brought us to the night markets; we went to Garden Street, FLower Street, Electronic Street, Sports Street and many more. Here are some pics to share.

.
Dinner was a simple local delicious one. Our 'leader' from HK took us to a yummy Hong Kong Noodle place called Hong Kong Chai at Mogkok Road. Here's the simple BUT yummy meal.
.

I was so brave I ordered braised Pig's Totters Noodles! It was GOOD.. the bowl of cloudy-looking thing was the SOUP and believe you me that it was fantastic and tasty!!
.
Here's what the rest ate.

This is Fried Fish Skin! I dare not try them at first but they urged me to eat them. Very Good!
.
After that, we felt bad keeping our HK friends with us and that they should be tired too, we asked them to have an early night while we could carry on our own. The Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan team went on for slow walks and desserts! YES you are right.. More MANGOES please!
.
Here are a few more pictures of what I saw that night. *enjoy*

....... our orgasmic desserts!
Mango with Coconut.. *Awwwww*

After our good desserts, it started to rain. We were pretty stuck and waited for quite awhile before hopping into a cab and head on back to rest. Everyone had obvious veins popping out from their eyes and bags so huge under the eyes that could catch water! *lol*
.
I couldn't help but wonder why business trips are always tiring though we did not really stay up really late...
.
For me, I still feel happy everyday! J would sms me lovely 'good morning' messages and those would really make myday! *bliss*
.
Tomorrow would be a short conference then it would be R&R! *yippee*
