2 days 3 nights BKK Trip

Yep.. why 2D/2N and how this trip came about?

We flew in on Saturday, 19 September at 9.30pm Thailand time. Why did we choose such a late flight and wasted a day? Well, I had commited to a work assignment this weekend and I only knocked off at 5pm. I zoomed to the airport and we checked in for our flight that was supposed to take off at 7.30pm but instead, it was delayed and only took off at 8pm.

It a started with Daddy asking if I was working on the Hari Raya weekend; that was in early August when he asked. I proudly answered him, "Yes!". He chuckled, "Too bad then, I wanted to buy you a trip to Bangkok..."

There you have it! After that I called in to negotiate for early release! *lol*

I was given the task to book the flight and we ran into a few minor obstacles but the trip finalised afterall. The initial plan was to return on Monday evening as it will be a public holiday here in Singapore but the tickets were really costly that day... I was then left with 2 other choices, flights on Tuesday are way cheaper and there was a early morning flight and one really late at night that would arrive in Singapore at 12mn of Wednesday. I dare not take the risk though it would be really nice to have another full day roaming in Bangkok but everyone had to work on Wednesday, so I booked the Tuesday morning early flight out. So our trip that sounds like a 3D3N, was actually only 2D3N. We arrived in Bangkok late Saturday evening and was out of there early Tuesday morning and we only had the whole of Sunday and Monday to chill, eat and shop.

I am happy anyhow as it was a really rare trip with my hubby and my parents. Daddy will only come back on 5 October.
