Breathe...

I realised I'd been lazy, actually pretty untrue, I AM NOT LAZY, I'm merely not recording everything I do or did on trips to places that I've been a million times unless it'd be a new country or place. Recent trips I went on, were trips I'd needed to unwind. I had no agenda, no objectives and thus, there were pretty much nothing to say as I was constantly, either walking aimlessly around or was reading in cafes.

This trip, as well! :)

But I will elaborate on things that I'd like to share as I saw them or interesting places that I think you should consider visiting.

First up... have you been to The Manor at Sukhumvit 39? It was our first too. My brother-in-law brought us there and briefly explained that Manor 39 is a little 'Japan'. Indeed, Japanese Restaurant, Japanese Craft Stores, Japanese Beauty Parlours, Japanese Cafe and of course, loads of Japanese and most of them looked like expatriates living in Bangkok with their families.... interesting.

We settled in for a good lunch at Bankara Ramen (read about the reviews here...)

He mentioned that this is a famous restaurant in Japan and the queue is, as expected, long. WE waited for half an hour before given a table. The ambience of the cozy little restaurant is indeed, authentic.

There's a basket of freshly peeled garlic on every table and you are to 'mash' them and add into your own ramen, if you'd like to. Pretty fun! I'm never a garlic fan though.

If you have time, try this on your next visit. :)
