Tucked quietly away in a small slip road from the main road of ChitLom was our Apartment - Bliston Suwan Park View.

The Chitlom BTS station was only a 3 min walk & the mall, Central Chitlom was just 4 min away. We could even walk to the Erawan Shrine or the new Central World, Gaysorn Plaza etc.
.
When our cabby eventually found the apartment, I was quite shocked seeing how old the building exterior looked. But when I walked through the main entrance, I felt relieved.

Though the reception area was pretty small & not as luxurious as most hotel lobby, it still contained a cafe, 4 armchairs & 3 internet access ledge for guests.
.
The apartment, however, I must say, was larger than large!!
.
We got a 3-room apartment on the 7 storey. When Jason & I walked in the apartment, I was disappointed as the place didn't look as grand or new as it did on the website. Then we peered closely on the brochure & realised that the only difference from the pictures & reality was simply - no plants & soft furnishings. But I must say it was a very comfortable apartment though too big for me I felt kinda scared. Jason got quite irritated I needed him to walk with me in the apartment everywhere I went.

Just take a look at how huge the Living Area was when so many people were standing in it! GOSH, I wish our future nest would not be so huge, I'll freak out!
.
2 bedrooms came with attached bathroom & there was another common bathroom in the Dining hall. His parents took a room, Jason & I took one & there was one more room. All rooms came with Queen & King beds. I wasn't sure if it was the brothers whom were uncomfortable sharing one bed or was it the men's thing. Apparently, I understood from Jason, men do not like to share the same bed with another man whether you are related or not. It was quite amusing to me as we girls have no problem sleeping on the same bed & we could even squeeze more than 3 on one bed. Hmm.. another difference between the Mars & Venus. So, H slept in the hall on the chaise lounge. He was also kind to let us have one room. Really appreciated it.
.
Here's our room,

Huge isn't it? Our huge bedroom came with a bathroom & lotsa cabinets which I dare not open at all. The furnishings were rather old but clean. Bathroom was simple in white tiles & white sanitary - conservative & clean.. The breathtaking view outside our bedroom window!

There was a comfortable-sized open kitchen that came with a microwave oven, blender, coffee-maker, sink, hob, hood, hot water dispenser etc. Very well-equipped. Behind the kitchen there was a laundry room in the size of a regular HDB bedroom which housed only ONE front-loading washer & dryer.

The dining area was also so huge that the 6-pcs dining looked kinda odd in terms of its size. I figured we could actually throw in another 4 of the same dining table yet able to walk around it..
Bedroom doors were also pretty far apart which gave quite decent privacy for the guests in the rooms.
.
There was also a pool as well as gym facilities. We didn't get to use them though we planned to do so as we thought we would over-eat on this trip.. but we walked off such sins every single day in Bangkok.. my legs are still aching this day as I am telling.
.
Breakfast was provided at the lobby cafe every morning. FOr me, the best part of any trip would be hearty breakfast with toasts, baked beans, sausages & eggs. I'd be contented with just these + a wonderfully hot cuppa coffee! & Yes, everyday was heaven for me.
.
Here's where we enjoy our daily breakfast.

I must say his family rose pretty early everyday. I was kinda stressed that I'd be the last to be ready everyday because I was the only girl or perhaps, the only one who needed time for makeup & hairdo etc. BUt alright, I was not the last everyday! *giggles*.
Where we had breakfast, there were great lush greenery on one side & clear view of the hotel porch on the other. Small cafe, small but cosy & not noisy like those you'll find in the hotels in the city where families with children enjoy their breakfast noisily!
I only realised that this was the previous Somerset Apartment which had moved away.
.
The same Somerset Apartment I used to stay in KL last September.
