KL - 10 Sept

Oishi Foodo!
.
i have sinfully decided to talk more about food & less about work. Why talk about something which others might not be able to comprehend?
.
FOOD.. how can anyone NOT UNDERSTAND?? *giggles*
.
I had 1 hour to gobble my breakfast as my taxi uncle was scheduled to pick me up from Sunway at 11.30am & my training ends at 10.30am.. I went to Uncle Lim's. Uncle Lim's is similar to the the familiar Killiney Kopitiam we have in Sinagapore except they have more Malay favourites than Chinese & their coffee s*cks.
.
OK. TO be fair. I haven't tasted any nice coffee in KL or PJ. I have had no choice but to take gourmet coffee which I so detest in Singapore, here at KL. I can take their Long Black.
.
When I was at Sunway.. my natural instinct reminded me to buy my Dunkin Damn Fattening Donuts.
.
Without fail I would buy this every trip. Its buy 5 get 1 free at RM10.
.
COOL.. so snacks for tea break settled!
.
Our Dinner was the Ultimate Sin of the Century!
.
We went to a hawker place similar to Newton Circus in Singapore. We had wonderfully sinful food selection like Chilli Stingray, the ultimate fattening BBQ Chicken Wings, the Lobak (in Singapore known as Wu Xiang selection), Chilli 'Bamboo Shellfish'! It was called PAYATHIN MARKET near Cheras.. if I didn't orientate wrongly.
.
Such sins committed by the 3 of us. Of course one of us must be a local in order to find great local delights! Not expensive BUT delicious.
.
We have also come to an agreement that sinful food are NICE & DELICIOUS. Healthy food takes away the appetite. Just see how delicious the stingray looked buried under a wonderful amount of fried local vegetables & onion... MmMMm.. Mamamia!!
.
So the moral of the story is.. go to places that have shortage of food... I am sure you'll not gain weight.
.
Also i must say when you have the chance to mingle with the Locals here, you'll see how different the culture, food selection, work attitude, language really are! But it's good to have made friends in KL.
.
Thank you Friends.
