KL - 13 Sept

I woke up automatically at 6:30am. Got on to wash up & get ready as Taxi uncle is coming at 8am. I had planned to be in the office by 9am to set up the room. My training was to commence at 10am & end at 4pm. Didn't have time to grab a bite so I 'stole' peanut-filled crackers from the pantry & made myself a cup of Nescafe.. at times like this... I miss my mum & my daily Mummy-Blend Kopi-O.. sob sob..

I didn't take lunch as there was only a short one-hour break in between trainings topics. By the time I was done with my training, taxi uncle is already waiting for me downstairs at the lobby at 5:30pm.

By the time we got through the jam, we reached KL city at about 7-ish. My colleague & me headed back to her apartment to put down our stuff. I had the privilege to stay the night at SOMERSET Service Apartment that day as the rest of the people were suppose to work through the night at the new shopping mall& no one would be at the other apartment with me. I took the room with the 2 single bed. It was a very comfortable apartment just like a hotel. They have a front desk that would direct your guest up to you or any phone calls, they would help you call a taxi should you need one, they would greet you everytime you they see you etc. WONDERFUL!
The service apartment in SOMERSET which she stayed in came with 2 bedrooms, a nice little pantry with stove, fridge, microwave & even a washing machine / dryer. It was only RM 390 per night! It was also the first time I ever stayed in a service apartment! So ladies & gentlemen, if you are planning on a holiday with families, get a service apartment like this is much economical than hotel rooms. For your information, they also have Room Service!

We went for dinner as my colleague had to work after that. Once again, we scanned Changkat Bukit Bintang & came upon this place named THE MAGNIFICENT FISH & CHIPS PLACE- just like RELISH, it was another theme cafe that filled Changkat Bukit Bintang's row of spectacular shop houses.
Small & cozy, it served; as the name described, FISH & CHIPS. I don't know if it was really spectacular BUT I thought it was pretty delicious. My colleague found it a tad too oily. I enjoyed it though.

It was a small portion. Only one piece of chips with fries. They served the main on a huge white plate and I thought that looked really good. under the Fish & Chips was a butter paper. Interesting. Dining on one side & a bar on the other side in this narrow setup. Great Ambience!

After dinner we went back up to SOMERSET. To my pleasant surprise.. I found this spectaculr view from the living room balcony!

WOW! Cheap Thrill but I felt like I was in an apartment in NY City!!!!

i was really sleepy & was prepared to sleep even though she had to go out to join the rest on the night job. I dozed off on the sofa in the living room admiring the view...around 10:30pm. I can really feel my body corroding away as I was really burned out.

At 11:30pm I was awoken & she had requested my company to the job site as it was late & she dared not hop into a cab nor walk all the way to the mall.. she promised we would be back within an hour. So... rubbed my eyes & we left for 'work' yet again.

We returned to SOMERSET at 1:30am... I finally slept at 2am... I think I am losing it...
