KL - 16 to 19 Sept

Today, after 3 years, I am finally reporting SICK. I could not get up to go out to work while everyone is slogging hard out there finishing the unfinished business.
.
As mentioned many times, I am so busy here that I donn't even have the time to do anything else. Everyday work ended & the first thing on anybody's mind is ONLY to sleep. We are all so drained out. Thank goodness there are so many of us we plan & schedule our own time so that all of us would not be burn out all at once.
.
Past few days we prepared for the store opening & after the 20th - which was the Mall & our Store's official opening, we had to continue to prepare the staff as well as the store to operate.
.
To me, indeed, I learned a lot. To set up a store & watch it go into operations is really cool.
.
To amuse myself.. i made new friends - hunks & babes that kept us company throughout the process & not shy to share their perfect assets! HAHA! Come to think of it, its quite eerie, isn't it?
.
. So here goes...

19 September

We had prata at a coffee shop on a remote street behind Bukit Bintang. It had 3 different sauces, Fish Curry, Dahl & Sambal Chilli. Of course being the usual Singaporean, we asked for sugar as well. YUMMY!
.
For lunch, we were in a hurry, yet again, so we had a quick lunch again at Station KopiTiam. I ordered Thai Sizzling Chicken with Rice, just like the oriental Gungbo Chilli Chicken Rice!


I would now have to back date the record for lost dates between 16 September to date. If I do not upload, I may have difficulty to continue doing so if it drags for too long.

18 September

Did not have any breakfast as we all woke late & were rushing. However, nice lunch came soon after - KOREAN!!!!!!!

We had lunch at StarHill, the most prestigious Mall in Bukit Bintang, housing al big brands like Lanvin, Dior, LV etc. It has great architecture & interior decorations. We went to a Korean restaurant at the basement.

The other colleagues from Singapore are going back to Singapore today & the four of us left behind will definitely miss them.

.

I finally gotten to taste all the food I always see in Korean Drama like the 'Nian Gao' & the very big Bowl of Mixed Vegetables with Rice that Rain & Song Huey Qiao ate in the Drama Full House. *contented*

Dinner was a quick & simple one as we would need to travel to Ikea again after the meal to go buy stuff from for the store! We took our quickie at Station KopiTiam at KL Plaza. I had a humble Sweet & Sour Fish with Rice & Milo-O.

We headed on to Ikea after that & we found A&W.. WHo could resist their Coney Dogs & Waffles. The rest of them ordered Coney Dogs. I was contented with my Waffles & my Root Beer!

17 September

We had a quick breakfast despite being so late for work. Everyone was supposed to meet on site at 8:30am.
.
I woke up at 6:45am. One of my house mate overslept & we were only ordering breakfast at 8:30am. *giggles* We had oriental breakfast at a coffee shop along Jalan Alor. YES we are always eating in, around, about Jalan Alor as we live near & work near it! I had Wanton Mee with Coffee.. as usual, horrible coffee!

For lunch, everybody craved for KFC, so we went. I ordered a wonderful Pasti Sedap which comprised of 2 pieces of KFC Chicken, Rice with raisins, Satay(Peanut) Sauce, soup & Rose Syrup. Quite a cool combination.

I think that the KFC chicken in KL taste much better than the Singapore ones. However, they are still using chilli sauce in bottles! *yucks* so unhygienic! We even saw people licking the sauce off the mouth of the bottle. We haven't gone back to KFC since that!

We had dinner at Planet Hollywood to celebrate my GM's birthday. I knew Planet Hollywood serves huge portion so I ordered Fish! I had Cajun Fish. It was light & Yummy & they were also running a 50% promotion menu. So all of us ordered from that menu & we did save alot out of the humongous & sumptuous dinner. We had fun though we were all drained out.

We returned to the apartment at about 11pm and met in dreamland about 1am.

16 September
.
We were to be in the Store at 9am.. so I rose at 7am.. *yawn*
.
My breakfast on 16 September. Something safe & decent. Sausage Mcmuffin with a NICE coffeee! We had this at the MacDonald's opposite Lot 10 in Bukit Bintang on our way to work in Pavilion.

Finally lunch time came after few hours of sweating & hard-labouring, we walked a distance away to enjoy nice local lunch at a coffee shop at the junction of Imbi & Bukit Bintang. We had this - Chee Cheong Fun in the same plate with Meatballs & Fishballs. I thought it was really a weird combination BUT well, it didn't taste so bad after all.
They were also selling this (see picture), its 3-layered fried Yam + Sweet Potato + 'Nian Gao', the 'Nian Gao' (what we usually get to eat during the Lunar Chinese New Year) was wonderfully cooked & melting in the centre while protected by the nice & fragrant yam & sweet potato. .
We had sinful dinner at Jalan Alor.. I was so tired I had forgotten to take pics of the food. However, I had some evidence to show for. We had Grilled Sambal Stingray, Sambal 'Lala', Sambal 'Harm' (Mussels & Clams), Sambal Kankong. Sinful Sinful Sinful!

We only reached the apartment at 12mn.. after all showering & waiting for our turns, we tucked in at 2am.
