Woke up at 5:45am in order to be able to get ready & leave the apartment by 7am to get a taxi myself to KLCC. You can read about my taxi-calling adventure in the other blog post titled KL TAXI RAVES & RANTS.
.
My training commenced at 8:30am & was finished by 10am. I had pre-arranged for taxi uncle to pick me up from KLCC at 11:30am.. Therefore I have about an hour or so before I can hop on & make my way in to the office in PJ.
.
Had to find a quiet place where I can continue with my work on my laptop.. so went to DOME for a quick bite & do my work.. don't want to waste the hour away. I ordered Scrambled Eggs with Sausage.. BAD DECISION! The look of the food was nice BUT the eggs tasted as if they had smashed hard-boiled eggs & added in gluey yellow liquid over it! To me It was really horrendous! I should have just ordered a simple-but- safe Ham & Cheese Sandwich.
.
Today was also the company's D&D in Malaysia and the event was to be held at Mines Resort & Spa.. I still don't know exactly where that was though I have gone there. So the office staff were 'released' at 3pm. Those who stayed nearby could head on home to freshen up for the event in the evening. Well, of course we went back to the apartment to change into our most BEACHY outfit combination we can find from our limited selection in the luggage. We took some pics of what we were wearing, would post them when I get my hands on the pictures.
.
By 4pm, we were having a quick big bite at a HK-concept Cafe at Berjaya TImes Square right next to our apartment before heading on home. Here's what I ordered.
.
My Nissin Noodles in Tom Yum Seafood Soup. It was yummy & the portion was just right for me. They served generous amount of soup which I love & plentiful of vegetables as well as squids (my love!). Accompanying my noodles I had a Mango with Aloe Vera Iced Green Tea! Cooling Refreshing! THUMBS UP! For the 1st time in this entire stay in KL, I think this was not a sinful meal.
.
At 11pm & after the D&D event, most of us were still feeling hungry.. that was the disadvantage of seating right in front of the stage where all the happenings distracted the appetite no matter what delicacies!
.
Our local friend was so kind to bring us for supper to fill the hungry soul.. We went to another Newton-Circus lookalike place & I merely ordered a 'kangkong cuttlefish'. In Singapore this dish also have the 'bee hoon' version BUT unfortunately to my disappointment, they did not have it. But the verdict is that IT WAS STILL DELICIOUS.. or was I so easy to please?? *groans*
.
We got home at 1-ish. Climbed into bed at 2am... another long long day. *yawn*
