KL - 15 Sept

Yawn.... when was my last off day? I am totally drained! Woke up at 6:30am with a bad headache & ultra-heavy eyelids. We were to meet for breakfast at 8am before heading on to work at 9:30am.
.
What's for Breakfast?
Horrible coffee + Yummy Prata by the Roadside!!!!! COOL!
It was a humble almost-falling-apart setup of tentage by the roadside near the SOMERSET Apartment. We had a quick bite before heading to work! It's going to be hard labour so STUFF YOURSELVES folks!
.
I had coffee at about 3pm.. needed one to keep awake as I was having really bad headache due to lacking of sleep! I almost felt like I was floating off every minute & drifting away. I have never felt so tired. Well YES, I (with evil grin) also had a nice Chocolate Chip Cashew nut Cookie!
.

The DINNER was one I am DYING to SHARE!
.
We had dinner at 7pm, YET & AGAIN, along Changkat bukit bintang & this time, we had Lebanese Food! When I first entered the restaurant I was taken aback by the strong scent. Somewhat mix of herbs, floral & spices. It is difficult to explain but i didn't think I would enjoy the food.

The first dish arrived - a bowl of vegetables called Fatoush. I tasted it. YUMMY. It was indeed lettuces, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, lemons mixed with spicy & sour seasoning of some sort. It was very appetizing. We had Kebab, & a few others of their signature dishes. All the dishes served to us were sour & either very spicy or just spicy enough. & they tasted really refreshing. Everything including the drinks were sour. We ordered Lebanese homegrown & popular drinks - Lemon Rose (picture in pink) & Lemon Mint (shown green in picture). It tasted sour with the subtle taste of rose syrup or mint with crushed ice .. hmm.. LOVED IT!
.
The restaurant, which was somewhat similar with the rest of those we went, was of humble capacity. Our table of14 took up half the space inside. They do have outdoor seatings too. No Chairs nor Tables buts lotsa throw cushions & fluffy pillows with candles.
.
The servers whom were believed to be from Lebanese were also friendly & warm. They were eager to introduce their country's delicacies as well as popular dishes we should try.
.
Overall it was YUMMY!
.
After the dinner, the rest adjourn for more food at Jalan Alor - a famous food street behind Bukit Bintang. I surrendered & went back to the apartment on my own as I was way over-drained. If I has not gone back early that night, I may have fallen sick the next day.
.
We perspired in a dusty, dirty & noisy place still under construction & we weren't wearing mask. If without proper rest, anyone would have fallen sick.
.
I went back to my apartment at Times Square, took my bath & concussed. I was glad I did! & that was my earliest bedtime throughout the whole stay here. I slept at 12mn.
